Job summary

Wanganui District Council is seeking casual Venues & Events Officers to join the Whanganui Venues & Events team. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience across all venues and provide support in bar, ticket office and venue setup.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a varied schedule in a dynamic events environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Proven customer service experience or ability to deliver great client experience.
• Sound computer skills, including basic software and data entry.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends when required.

About The Role:

The position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to users and patrons of venues managed by the Council. The role provides support across a variety of areas - bar, box/ticket office and venue setup. The hours of work are variable and include evenings and weekends.
