Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor for our Snowy River Gold Mine Project in Reefton, New Zealand. You will lead underground crews, uphold safety standards and drive performance on site.

We offer an even-time roster, long-term project stability, and a sign-on bonus. NZ residents are encouraged to apply and FIFO from East Coast Australia is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as underground shift supervisor.
• Hold required mining leadership qualifications (NZ/Australia).
• Strong planning, problem-solving and stakeholder skills.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality delivery.
• NZ residents encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in an Underground Shift Supervisor role


• Hold at least one of the following mining leadership qualifications:
  
  
  • S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (WA)
  
  
  • S123/G189 Mining Supervisor ticket (QLD)
  
  
  • S10 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (NSW)
  
  
  • B or A Grade NZ Statutory Supervisors ticket
  
  
  
  


• Ability to build trust, set standards and make clear decisions


• Strong planning, problem-solvingand stakeholder skills


• Commitment to safe, high-quality delivery


• Valid Australian manual drivers’ licence or New Zealand (Class 1)
