Job summary

Macmahon New Zealand is seeking experienced Underground Grader Operators to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand's South Island. We require safety-focused operators with proven underground mining experience operating the CAT 12M graders (or equivalent).

Successful candidates will help maintain safe haul routes and work areas, support productivity across the underground operation and contribute to a strong crew culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground graders in mining.
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up.
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic.
• Valid Class 1 unrestricted NZ driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of CAT 12M graders or equivalent.
• Maintain haul roads and access roads in active mining areas.
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately.
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules.
• Contribute to a people-first culture and Winning Values.

• Location: Snowy River Gold Mine Project - Reefton, New Zealand's South Island
• Roster: 7:7 - rotating day and night shifts
