Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Junior Recruitment Consultant in Queenstown to join our growing team. This entry-level role offers training, mentorship, and exposure to diverse industries as you learn the recruitment process from sourcing to client engagement.

You will work under experienced consultants, conduct candidate interviews, maintain the database, schedule interviews, and help with administrative tasks while developing the essential recruitment skills for a rewarding career in talent

Qualifications

• No prior recruitment experience required; a strong interest in recruitment and sales is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants in sourcing and screening candidates for various job openings.
• Conduct initial candidate interviews to assess suitability and interest.
• Maintain and update the candidate database with accurate information.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and clients.
• Learn and apply recruitment best practices and techniques.
• Provide administrative support to the recruitment team as required.
