Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Te Rapa in New Zealand is looking for 2 motivated Team Members to join our Trade Yard. You’ll be hands-on, customer-focused and ready to help customers find the right timber and building products.

Two permanent part-time roles are available (16 hours per week): Fri/Sat and Sun/Mon shifts. You’ll deliver great service, promote safety, and keep the yard well-organised and efficient.

• Strong customer service with a focus on helping customers.
• Willingness to learn about timber and building products.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.

About theRole

As a keymember of our Trade Yard, you will play an essential role in deliveringoutstanding service while maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient yard.

Reporting tothe Trade Yard Team Leader, there are two roles available:

• Permanent part-time, 16 hours perweek, worked across Friday and Saturday
• Permanent part-time, 16 hours perweek, worked across Sunday and Monday

KeyResponsibilities

• Deliver exceptionalcustomerservice, building strong and trusting relationships with customers
• Demonstrate knowledge andenthusiasm for alltimber and building products
• Embrace a“can-do”attitudewith a hands-on and proactive approach to daily tasks
• Promote and maintain astronghealth & safety mindset, contributing to a safe workingenvironment for staff and customers
• Maintain aconsistentlywell-organised, neat, and clean drive thru
• Performmanual handling oftimber and building materialsas required
• Ensure accuracy in orders andstock control with akeen eye for detail
• Communicate clearly andprofessionally with customers and team members
