Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Henderson is recruiting for a Drive Thru Timberyard Team member. This hands-on role focuses on loading timber, sorting gear and delivering great service to DIY customers.

The successful applicant will be a quick thinker, physically fit, and capable of working across a 40-hour weekly shift pattern to help keep the timberyard humming. You’ll join a Kiwi brand that values practical, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Solid team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in.
• Loves helping people and can handle a bit of hustle.
• Quick thinker, good with your hands, and able to move fast on your feet.
• Willingness to learn and adapt on the job.
• Physically fit (standing, lifting, manual handling).
• Great communicator – tradespeople and DIYers need clear, confident service.
• Knowledge of products within building supplies, timber and trade-related products.

Responsibilities

• Load timber and sort gear to keep the timberyard running smoothly.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide clear, confident advice.
• Help keep the workspace tidy and safe while staying efficient.
• Provide excellent service to ensure customers leave with the right gear for their ute.

Drive Thru Timberyard Team (40 hours per week)

Building supplies and timber sales is one of the fastestgrowing areas of our business – here’s your opportunity to join the Team at Mitre 10 MEGAHenderson.

This isn’t a sit-around job. It’s hands-on,boots-on-the-ground action – loading timber, sorting gear, keeping theplace humming, and most importantly, making sure every customer rolls outsmiling (and with the right gear in the ute).

The Shift: 40hours per week:Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (Days off Sunday and Thursday). The successful applicant must be able to work the full 40 hours on the days specified)
