Stellar Recruitment is seeking a Trade Support specialist for a Wellington-based role with a leading distributor of building products. The role blends customer service and in-store support, assisting tradespeople with product needs and orders.

You will handle phone and email inquiries, support pricing and quotes, and coordinate deliveries with suppliers. The position offers regular training, a strong team culture, and a balanced, Monday-to-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or trade support role (ideally within the building industry).
• Confident communicator with strong phone and email etiquette.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person at the trade counter.
• Support customers with product advice, pricing, and quotes.
• Liaise with suppliers to arrange deliveries or coordinate stock for collection.
• Complete data entry, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reports and team meetings.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers.

We’re supporting a leading distributor of high-quality building products to the commercial construction market across New Zealand. Due to some growth in the construction sector, we’re looking for their next Trade Support superstar to join their Wellington team.

This is a varied role combining customer service and trade counter support, you’ll be helping customers over the phone and by email, as well as assisting tradespeople in-store with their product and order needs.

Your day-to-day
