Plumbing World in Auckland is seeking a customer-focused Trade Sales / Driver for our Silverdale branch. You’ll mainly serve customers at the trade counter, process orders, offer product advice, and help keep projects moving.

From time to time you’ll assist with local deliveries, warehouse duties, and branch operations. The role suits someone with retail or trade experience who wants to stay connected to the trade while growing toward future opportunities.

Qualificações

• Customer service and sales focus are essential.
• Experience in retail, trade sales, merchant, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• Willingness to learn brand and products, reliable team player.
• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 20kg; NZ Class 1 licence required.
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

About The Role

Our Silverdale branch is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Sales / Driver to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll spend most of your time serving customers at the trade sales counter, processing orders, providing product advice, and helping customers get what they need to keep their projects moving. From time to time, you'll also assist with local deliveries, warehouse duties, and branch operations, making every day a little different.

This role would suit someone with experience in retail, trade sales, customer service, plumbing, building supplies, or the wider trade industry. If you're looking to move off the tools but still want to stay connected to the trade sector, we'd love to hear from you!

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Providing outstanding service to our customers at the trade sales counter.
• Processing sales and assisting customers with product enquiries.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Picking and preparing orders.
• Assisting with local customer deliveries when required.
• Supporting warehouse and branch operations as needed.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure customers receive exceptional service.

• Physically fit and able to undertake some heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
• A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver's licence.

This is a permanent full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
