The Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) is seeking a Test Analyst on a fixed-term basis (to March 2029) to join the Te Au Reka programme in Wellington CBD. You will work with frontline teams, vendors and the wider programme to ensure the solution meets requirements and is fit for purpose.

You will support planning, execution and reporting of testing activities, drive testing best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality and service acceptance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in software testing in large and complex environments.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including operational users and SMEs.
• Collaborates with analysts, developers and stakeholders to design and execute testing solutions.
• Experience applying risk-based testing and validating features with Product/Service Managers.
• Builds strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Work with deliver team members to automate acceptance test cases where possible.
• Plan, coordinate and execute system, integration and acceptance testing activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance service delivery.
