Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Test Analyst to join a public sector ERP implementation. Working in a small, agile team, you will execute functional testing and support UAT for a cloud-based system that enhances community services and organisational efficiency.

Candidates must be available 4 days per week onsite. The role requires attention to detail, ability to refine test cases, prioritise tasks, and collaborate with Business Analysts to understand testing requirements and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience testing large-scale cloud applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Understanding of defect management and impact analysis.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across the team.

About the Role

Our public sector client is seeking a Test Analyst to join on to support the hands-on delivery of testing for a significant ERP implementation. Working within a small, agile team, this role is focused on executing functional testing and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for a cloud-based system that will enhance community services and organisational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through test scripts efficiently. You’ll be confident refining test cases, prioritising tasks, and understanding the broader impacts of defects across modules. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation within a supportive public sector environment. Candidates must be available 4 days p.w. onsite.
