Job summary

Bluecurrent is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join its Digital team in Wellington, New Zealand. You will design and execute robust testing approaches and contribute to automation efforts to ensure reliable software.

You will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile DevOps environment, identify defects, and help uplift testing practices across the team.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software testing and QA experience.
• Hands-on testing across functional, integration, regression and acceptance testing.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Proven experience of applying software principles and best practices.
• Practical experience in test automation tools such as Playwright and Postman.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail when designing tests and identifying defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and continuously refine test plans, test cases, and test automation suites for high-value digital solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deeply understand requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
• Work within an agile DevOps environment to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify defects, analyse root causes, and work with developers to ensure rapid, high-quality resolutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices, frameworks, and tools.
• Share your expertise with peers and help uplift testing capability across the team.

Join our high-performing Digital team at Bluecurrent as a Senior Test Analyst, where your deep expertise will directly influence the reliability and performance of the solutions we deliver.

In this role, you'll design and execute robust testing approaches, contribute to modern quality practices including automation and play a key role in ensuring we release exceptional software that meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
