Job summary

JobSpace is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer in Auckland to join an agile development team. The role focuses on modern frontend, backend and cloud environments with strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing.

Knowledge of C# and SpecFlow would be highly beneficial as you help set up the test strategy and ensure reusable, scalable frameworks across CI/CD pipelines. You will test backend and frontend applications, contribute to performance testing scenarios, and

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer who is detail-oriented and puts quality in the forefront.

Working in an agile team across various parts of the extensive Vista product set, you'll focus on modern frontend, backend and cloud environments.

This role sits within our Digital product stream and requires strong manual and automation experience, and knowledge of C# and Specflow would be highly beneficial.

About the role

• Ensure that testing deliverables are effective and measurable, for efficiency and accuracy
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of our System Test strategy
• Work closely with, and help guide, a dynamic and very collaborative team
• Test backend and front-end applications
• Ensure System Test Frameworks are fit for purpose, efficient, scalable, and maintainable and applicable to the CI/CD strategy
• Ensure automation code is treated as production code and meets re-usability and standardisation requirements
• Set up performance testing scenarios and run to simulate loads for concurrent users
