Job summary

New Zealand Health Group in Auckland is seeking a dedicated Test Analyst to champion quality across our digital solutions. You will design and maintain test suites for business projects, and work with vendors and stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure outcomes.

The role is permanent, 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, based in Auckland. You should bring 3–5 years in QA/testing, strong SQL and API testing skills, and a collaborative approach to deliver exceptional customer

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering role.
• Experience supporting test planning, coordination and delivery across medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong experience testing web, mobile, desktop and API-based applications.
• Experience creating and executing SQL queries for data validation and testing activities.
• Experience with functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• The ability to design effective test cases and test scenarios from business requirements and user stories.
• Experience with test automation tools, ideally UiPath testing solutions.

• Conducting exploratory testing to identify quality risks and usability issues.
• Developing and maintaining automated test suites to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across testing and quality assurance practices.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Test Analyst to join our Digital Solutions team. As a quality advocate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable and secure digital solutions that support NZHG's digital strategy and business objectives.

Working closely with business leaders, project teams, vendors and stakeholders, you will champion quality throughout the delivery lifecycle, helping to identify risks early, improve testing practices and ensure solutions deliver exceptional outcomes for our people and the communities we support.

Key responsibilities include:

This a permanent position working 32 hours across Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm and based in Auckland.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused testing professional who is passionate about quality, problem solving and delivering great customer outcomes. You will enjoy working across both business and technical teams and be confident navigating complex systems and projects.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 3-5 years' experience in a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering role.
