Job summary

New Zealand Health Group in Auckland is seeking a dedicated Test Analyst to champion quality across our digital solutions. You will design and maintain test suites for business projects, and work with vendors and stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure outcomes.

The role is permanent, 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, based in Auckland. You should bring 3–5 years in QA/testing, strong SQL and API testing skills, and a collaborative approach to deliver exceptional customer

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering role.
• Experience supporting test planning, coordination and delivery across medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong experience testing web, mobile, desktop and API-based applications.
• Experience creating and executing SQL queries for data validation and testing activities.
• Experience with functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• The ability to design effective test cases and test scenarios from business requirements and user stories.
• Experience with test automation tools, ideally UiPath testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites for business projects and system enhancements.
• Delivering high-quality testing services across web, mobile, desktop and integrated business applications.
• Performing manual testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), API testing and data validation activities.
• Collaborating with vendors and project teams to identify risks, edge cases and quality concerns early in the delivery process.
• Reviewing requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, testable and fit for purpose.
• Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).
• Recording, managing and tracking defects through to resolution.
• Conducting exploratory testing to identify quality risks and usability issues.
• Developing and maintaining automated test suites to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across testing and quality assurance practices.
