Job summary

Nri Anz seeks a Quality Engineer Lead based in Wellington, NZ, to accelerate quality using appropriate tools across software development lifecycles. You will lead testing teams, contribute to test plans, and communicate effectively with clients.

As a Quality Engineer Lead, we expect you to possess a high level of knowledge and exposure across various software development lifecycle models and have the ability to accelerate quality with the application of appropriate tools and approaches.

This is a Wellington based role and Wellington market experience preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements for testability
• Contribute to test plans and other high level documentation where required
• Collaborate with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient
• Experience leading testing teams with Salesforce, Banking (lending or term deposits) Payroll/HRIS systems
• Identify test conditions/ test objectives and derive test cases using advanced test techniques
• Identify and apply tools to assist with the acceleration of quality
• Create comprehensive test assets in the appropriate tools relevant to test conditions
• Utilise appropriate tools to execute test cases and report results
• Raise, track and close defects
• Be a good communicator, able to collaborate with client teams, people to define test cases and acceptance criteria
• Enjoy change and new challenges. This is a Consulting role
• Be passionate about quality practices within IT delivery

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, ADO)
• Motivated to explore and maximise use of AI in testing
• Local experience and wide variety of domain knowledge preferred
