Job summary

Vinarchy UK Limited is seeking a motivated Territory Manager to lead our New Zealand Dunedin patch and drive distribution across grocery and independent outlets. You’ll own your route, build lasting retailer partnerships, execute in-store activations and promotions, and use data to unlock growth opportunities.

• Confidence managing a large and geographically dispersed territory

About This Opportunity

We’re looking for a Territory Manager to join our New Zealand Sales team, based in Dunedin.

This is a highly autonomous, field-based role where you’ll take full ownership of your territory, building strong partnerships across grocery and off-premise independent retail customers.

Covering Dunedinand surrounds, you’ll focus on driving execution in-store and unlocking growth opportunities across your customer base.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver volume, value and distribution targets across your territory
• Build strong relationships with key retail customers
• Execute in-store activations, promotions and shelf optimisation. Identify and convert new growth opportunities across accounts
• Manage your territory plan, including travel and customer cadence

About You

You’re a self-starter who thrives in a field-based role and enjoys owning your results.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in territory or field sales (FMCG, beverages, or alcohol highly regarded)
• Grocery or retail channel experience
• Strong commercial acumen and a results-focused mindset
• Proven ability to influence customers and drive in-store execution
• Confidence managing a large and geographically dispersed territory
• A high level of autonomy, organisation and drive
• Ability to travel out-of-town, one night away 3 out of 4 weeks.
• Wine industry knowledge or qualifications
