Job summary

DKSH New Zealand is recruiting a Territory Manager for North Canterbury and the Upper South Island. You will drive revenue growth, manage regional sales strategy, and ensure in-store representation of our leading FMCG brands across major retailers. The role requires strong sales experience in FMCG, stakeholder engagement, and willingness to travel with a full NZ driver’s license. You will work autonomously with strong team support to grow market presence.

Territory Manager, North Canterbury / Upper South Island

Our DKSH Services New Zealand business unit works in partnership with Ferrero Australia and has developed a strong track record marketing key grocery and confectionery brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Tic Tac, Kinder Surprise and Nutella. We also represent Nerds Candy as part of the wider Ferrara / Ferrero portfolio.

About the Role

As Territory Manager for North Canterbury and the Upper South Island, you will lead sales performance and sustainable business growth across your defined region. You will execute regional sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure our brands are represented to the highest standard in-store.

What You Will Deliver

• Drive revenue growth across the territory by owning all product lines and executing the regional sales strategy with a strong focus on distribution, in‑store presence, and display excellence
• Achieve and exceed financial targets, providing structured performance updates to the National Field Sales Manager (NFSM)
• Execute key sales activities, including product introductions, merchandising, marketing display set‑ups, and order management to maximise commercial impact
• Maintain exceptional store standards across retail partners including Woolworths, The Warehouse Limited (TWL), and Foodstuffs South Island (FSSI)
• Build strong customer relationships by responding promptly to orders and queries, communicating promotions and new products, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure reliable delivery

What You Bring

• Demonstrated FMCG sales experience with strong knowledge of the sales process
• Proven ability to influence, engage, and align stakeholders through thoughtful and strategic communication
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with confidence summarising regional performance for diverse audiences
• Customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to understanding challenges from the customer's perspective
• Full NZ Drivers Licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays
