Job summary

Kordia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Field Solutions team, delivering telecommunications and critical infrastructure projects across New Zealand. This hands-on role takes ownership from initiation to completion, coordinating engineers, contractors and customers to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

You’ll manage scope, programme and budgets, identify risks, and maintain strong governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years project management experience in telecommunications, broadcasting, engineering or infrastructure
• Strong understanding of telecom/network infrastructure (towers, antennas, power, data centres)
• Experience managing complex engineering projects and budgets
• Ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes
• Proven governance, documentation and reporting skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder influencing abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead telecommunications and infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion
• Develop and manage project plans, programmes, budgets, resources and delivery milestones
• Manage project financial performance, including CAPEX/OPEX and budgets
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and changes
• Coordinate internal technical teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain strong project governance and reporting
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders with clear communication
• Monitor KPIs, timelines, cost, quality and outcomes
