Job summary

Terra Cat Power Systems in New Zealand is seeking a Project Manager to lead technically complex power infrastructure projects, including data-centre initiatives. You will drive delivery from planning through to handover, owning schedule, budget and customer experience.

You'll coordinate equipment, suppliers and contractors, maintain documentation and reports, and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to maximise margins while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Five+ years’ experience delivering projects for customers.
• Generator, electrical or power-generation industry background.
• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Developing project plans, key milestones and delivery methods with customers.
• Coordinating equipment, suppliers, contractors and internal resources.
• Managing procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Monitoring schedules, budgets, quality, variations and project risks.
• Preparing forecasts and progress and financial reporting.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and systems.
• Managing project profitability and identifying opportunities to improve margins.
• Building trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
