We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Technology teacher to join our Technology Faculty. Experience in construction, building, or related practical technology areas would be an advantage.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-functioning and supportive Technology department and to be part of the ongoing development and change within our Technology programmes. We are looking for someone excited to contribute ideas, embrace new approaches, and help shape engaging and relevant learning opportunities for our students.
The successful candidate will focus on the teaching and the delivery of our senior ITO (Industry Training Organisation) programmes with some junior Technology. Additionally, confidence across a range of curriculum levels is an advantage. They will demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive and sustaining practice, and creating an inclusive learning environment in which the identity, language, and culture of ākonga are recognised and valued.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and engaging teacher who builds strong relationships with students, whānau, and staff. The successful applicant will be committed to high expectations for all learners and to providing authentic, hands-on learning experiences that enable every student to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will also be willing to contribute positively to the changes and developments taking place within the school and Technology Faculty, working collaboratively with others to strengthen programmes, pathways, and outcomes for ākonga.
The position is open to both experienced and beginning teachers. Applicants are expected to contribute to the extracurricular programme of the school.
This is a full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027.
