Job summary

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated commercial insurance or underwriting experience.
- ANZIIF (or equivalent) qualification (or working towards it).
- Strong commercial and insurance acumen, including pricing and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to influence, build, and manage internal relationships.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
- Experience across non-consumer lines (e.g., SME, corporate, specialty).
Responsibilities
- Provide crucial technical underwriting advice and guidance.
- Support quality business acceptance and efficiency initiatives.
- Craft bespoke insurance solutions including co-insurance and facultative reinsurance.
- Collaborate with other underwriters to place own capacity and retention.
