Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

My client, Price Holyoake, is one of New Zealand and Australia’s leading manufacturers of engineered air management solutions. Founded in 1953 and now part of the Price Group of Companies- a privately held, family-owned North American HVAC leader- Price Holyoake has over 70 years of experience at the forefront of HVAC innovation. With local manufacturing facilities in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch (and across Australia), the company is known for high-quality products, strong technical support, and a genuine service culture built on business integrity, innovation, and commitment to their people.

Price Holyoake works closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and major commercial customers to deliver reliable, customisable HVAC solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Their portfolio includes air diffusion, noise control, fire and smoke control systems, and critical environment products, all designed to meet rigorous performance and testing standards and to support sustainable, efficient buildings.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will own the nationwide development of Price Holyoake’s louvre and data-centre opportunities. This is a strategic, externally focused role with genuine scope to build a market, influence specifications and develop lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

About the role:

You will identify projects early, understand the technical and commercial requirements, develop compelling solutions with internal teams, and guide opportunities from initial prospecting through to specification, tender, quotation and order.

  • Build, manage and convert a strong national project pipeline
  • Seek out upcoming developments, expansions and major projects before they reach tender stage.
  • Develop project-specific sales strategies for significant opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution design through proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Work closely with Price Holyoake’s engineering, manufacturing and sales teams to develop competitive, compliant solutions.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice to consultants, mechanical engineers, contractors, builders, architects, facility managers and procurement teams.
  • Build a detailed national database of key contacts, projects, decision-makers and opportunity insights.
  • Engage early with customers to influence specifications and create a preference for Price Holyoake solutions.
  • Grow awareness of Price Holyoake’s louvre offering and identify new verticals, applications and routes to market.
  • Monitor competitor activity, construction activity, pricing and market trends, then share meaningful intelligence with leadership.
  • Forecast stock requirements and support forward planning to ensure the business is positioned to deliver.

  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisation, follow-through and CRM discipline.
  • A self-starting, resilient mindset and the drive to create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • The ability and willingness to travel nationally to build relationships and visit key projects.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform would be advantageous.
Benefits:

This is more than a sales role - it is an opportunity to take ownership of a growth market and build a highly visible reputation within an established New Zealand business.

On offer is a generous remuneration package, commensurate with your experience. This is an exceptional role with an exceptional business!
