Job summary

Unisys is seeking a senior Full Stack Developer transitioning into Technical Lead in Wellington, New Zealand. You will lead enterprise-grade solutions, mentor developers, and work across .NET, Azure, APIs, and cloud architectures.

This role blends hands-on development with leadership to influence solution delivery and team success. You will guide technical delivery, collaborate with PMs, QA, and Operations, and drive continuous improvement while supporting agile practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT experience.
2+ years in a Technical Lead role.
Strong .NET development background.
Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs and Swagger.
OO analysis and design experience.
Microsoft SQL Server expertise.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Cloud development experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of API Management platforms such as MuleSoft or Apigee is advantageous.
Experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable.
BA/BS Degree (Master's degree preferred).

Responsibilities

Leading technical delivery across development projects.
Working across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
Collaborating with Project Managers, Test Teams, Operations, and key stakeholders.
Identifying and resolving technical challenges to keep projects on track.
Supporting Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
Mentoring and supporting junior developers.
