Job summary

Unisys Wellington is seeking a Technical Lead to guide development teams and mentor junior engineers while contributing to design and implementation of innovative client solutions. You will drive architectural decisions and oversee delivery across the stack.

You will lead design sessions, review code, coordinate with PMs and clients, and ensure secure, scalable backend and frontend features while maintaining performance and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years IT experience.
• Strong OO design and analysis skills.
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design sessions for features and projects.
• Code review and mentoring for junior developers.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and frontend components as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, operations and clients.
• Help drive continuous improvement within the team.
