Job summary

JobSpace seeks a Technical Lead (Architecture Focus) – Full Stack in Auckland to modernise a mission-critical platform for a global client. You will guide architecture from legacy .NET to modern tech, shape SPA/API integration, and lead cross-functional squads in a hands-on leadership role.

You will collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders and customer leadership to define pragmatic paths, uplift engineering standards, and drive delivery with Azure services.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with modern .NET and legacy .NET Framework in a commercial environment.
• Strong full-stack experience with Angular emphasis across backend, frontend and integration concerns.
• Knowledge of a mainstream SPA framework, preferably Angular; ability to review components and data-binding patterns.
• Proven technical leadership across engineering teams, including mentoring and setting delivery standards.
• Azure-based experience including App Services, Functions, API Management, Azure SQL and Service Bus.
• Solid grounding in web application security and secure API design.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Zero-Trust security, DevSecOps and FinOps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve application architecture across a mixed.NET estate from legacy to modern.
• Lead the modernisation roadmap and uplift legacy components incrementally.
• Direct full-stack technical direction across backend, frontend and integration boundaries.
• Shape SPA/API integration patterns with well‑designed, versioned contracts.
• Facilitate workshops and provide technical guidance through sprint reviews and release gates.
• Act as the technical voice in customer conversations to explain design decisions clearly.
