Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical or business analysis.

• Good working knowledge of SQL, including running and adapting queries.
• Strong data and process modelling capability.
• Experience analysing data mappings, transformation logic and data quality.
• Ability to write clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Supporting data mapping, data quality, reconciliation and migration readiness.

• Analyzing current-state processes and identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Managing requirements and dependencies across multiple programme workstreams.

Wellington | Major Transformation Programme | Complex Technical Environment

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a significant multi-year transformation programme focused on modernising core technology and building new service capabilities.

This is a highly technical BA role, working across APIs, integrations, data flows, system dependencies and migration, helping bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery. You’ll work closely with developers, testers, solution designers and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into clear, developer-ready outcomes.

The role

About you You’re naturally curious and comfortable working through ambiguity. You know how to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and investigate gaps in existing documentation. You can move between detailed technical conversations and business discussions and build strong relationships quickly.
