Waimakariri District Council is seeking a Technical Administrator - Water Services to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide parental leave cover. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential water services that support the health, wellbeing, and growth of our district.

In this varied role, you'll work closely with our Water Services team, providing specialist administrative, systems, and information management support across drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater operations. Your work will help ensure critical services remain efficient, compliant, and responsive to the needs of our community.

Whether you're improving processes, maintaining key business systems, supporting compliance activities, or helping turn data into meaningful information, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver services that residents rely on every day.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are quite the same. You'll be the go-to person for maintaining key Water Services systems, supporting operational teams, managing important compliance programmes, and driving improvements to the way information is managed and shared.
