Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our Paisley Place Site in New Zealand. You will lead day-to-day activities in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment, ensuring safe receipt, storage and dispatch of customer products while driving team performance and safety culture.

You will report to the Warehouse Manager and develop people, improve processes, and deliver outstanding customer outcomes through hands-on leadership and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in a Team Leader role within a warehouse, logistics, distribution or cold storage environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop warehouse teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and computer applications.
• Forklift Licence highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support warehouse team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, picking and dispatch activities.
• Ensure products are handled safely, accurately and in line with operational procedures.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
• Conduct team briefings and communicate daily priorities.
• Support inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Maintain housekeeping, security and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and help resolve operational issues.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our Paisley Place Site in New Zealand.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead day-to-day warehouse activities within a fast-paced temperature-controlled environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of customer products, while driving team performance, maintaining operational standards, and fostering a strong culture of safety and accountability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Daily Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
