Job summary

NZCL in Auckland is seeking an energetic Team Leader for its Residential Home to guide staff in helping clients live independently while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. You will motivate the team, oversee daily duties, and ensure high-quality person-centred care.

The role requires coordinating varied shifts across the week, fostering teamwork, and building strong connections with residents and whānau to support meaningful community participation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred or a genuine desire to develop leadership skills.
• Ability to tailor leadership approach to individual learning styles.
• Warm, calm and friendly personality with passion for supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Full NZ Driver License and ability to transport passengers safely in disability vans.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to support residents to live as independently as possible.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment encouraging personal goals.
• Coordinate shifts morning, afternoon, and evening to cover the week.
• Collaborate with team to implement personal support plans and ensure effective communication.
