Winstone Wallboards in Bay of Plenty is looking for a Team Leader – Compounds to oversee shift operations in the Tauriko facility. This role involves managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and leading a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of health & safety best practices.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and train team members for skill development.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Able to work 4 days on, 4 days off, (2 days and then 2 nights) from 7 shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and ensure production schedules are met.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead safety culture and promote a zero-harm environment.
• Supervise a team and provide training and support.
• Coordinate with dispatch for timely distribution of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize product damage.
