Job summary

H2R Consulting is seeking an organised Team Coordinator to support the delivery of a complex portfolio within a large, nationally focused organisation in Wellington. You will coordinate programmes, track actions, support meetings, and help leaders maintain visibility of priorities, risks, and progress.

The role requires strong planning, stakeholder management, and excellent written communication, with advanced Microsoft 365 skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

  • Experience in programme coordination, HR coordination, governance support, or a similar role.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience supporting meetings, governance groups, or engagement forums.
  • Excellent written communication, including report/briefing preparation.
  • Ability to handle confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programme activities, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation, action registers, trackers, and reporting tools.
  • Provide secretariat support for governance groups, forums, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the development of briefings, reports, presentations, and leadership updates.
  • Coordinate information from multiple stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and ways of working.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships across a broad stakeholder network.

You are a highly organised professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex and fast‑moving environments. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, working with a wide range of stakeholders, and ensuring commitments are tracked through to completion.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience in programme coordination, HR coordination, governance support, or a similar role.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting meetings, committees, governance groups, or engagement forums.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including report and briefing preparation.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 capability across Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
