NZX’s regulatory arm NZ RegCo offers a varied, highly trusted role at Wellington Central. You will provide proactive administrative support to the CEO and team, coordinate Board processes, and maintain audit-ready records with discretion and diligence.

To support the growth and development of our core markets business, and to ensure we are well connected to New Zealand investors, NZX owns Smartshares, New Zealand’s only issuer of listed Exchange Traded Funds, and manager of the SuperLife Kiwisaver scheme.
NZX also provides wealth management services for New Zealand advisers via its Wealth Technologies business.
NZ RegCo is NZX’s regulatory agency. NZ RegCo is responsible for supporting investor, issuer and market participant confidence in the integrity and regulatory oversight of NZX’s markets. It performs an important role in the regulation of NZX’s securities and derivatives markets which are at the heart of New Zealand’s capital markets and vital to NZX’s business. NZ RegCo comprises four teams: Surveillance; Participant Compliance; Issuer Regulation; and Market Conduct.
This is a varied and highly trusted role at the centre of NZ RegCo. You’ll provide proactive support to the CEO and wider team, coordinate key Board and operational processes, and keep priorities moving with accuracy and professionalism. If you’re organised, solutions-focused and thrive on making things happen, this is an opportunity to contribute to the integrity of New Zealand’s capital markets.
In addition, you’ll bring strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong relationship-building skills across all levels of the business, sound knowledge of administrative processes and procedures, and the initiative to identify and manage tasks through to completion.
This is a part-time (5 hours per day), permanent role based in Wellington Central.
