Waioneke School invites applications for a Teaching Deputy Principal to help lead our close-knit rural community. Responsibilities

• Lead as Deputy Principal while balancing classroom responsibilities.
• Coordinate leadership duties with a full teaching program.
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and learning support.
• Role includes management responsibilities with a release time to support leadership.
• Engage with the Waioneke School community to support student outcomes.

Waioneke School is a small, close-knit rural school on the South Head Peninsula, where every learner is known; our rural roots and bicultural identity shape how we learn together, and our connection to place runs deep — from Garden to Table to Agricultural Day. We're growing confident, lifelong learners who are empowered to imagine and achieve their aspirations, and we're looking for a Teaching Deputy Principal to help lead that journey.

This role comes with 1 permanent management unit and 2 fixed-term units, plus 1 day's release per fortnight to support your leadership alongside a full teaching program.

Our ideal candidate brings particular strength in either curriculum delivery or learning support — the position will be shaped around the strengths you bring.
