Job summary

Naenae School in Wellington invites applications for a Certificated teacher to join the Tava‘e bilingual unit for Years 1–8. The role is full-time, fixed term, starting 28/01/2027 and ending 27/01/2028 with roll growth.

The successful candidate will be passionate about bilingual education and cultural identity, deliver high-quality teaching across all curriculum areas, and build strong relationships with families and the wider community while collaborating with experienced colleagues and support

Qualifications

• Be a certificated teacher with current NZ teaching registration.
• Experience or strong interest in bilingual education and immersion contexts.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with families and the wider community.

• Deliver high-quality teaching across all curriculum areas.
• Value and foster strong relationships with aiga (families) and the community.
