Rubani Holdings Limited is seeking one permanent, full-time Class 5 truck driver based in Auckland to handle container movements and related freight. The role requires operating swinglift equipment and managing documentation, with shifts between 4:30am and 3:30pm on a 32–40 hour week, Monday to Saturday.

The successful candidate will have a NZ Class 5 licence (or 4 with ability to upgrade), a DG endorsement, and a solid grasp of road rules, load restraint, and safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Collect and deliver containers and other freight between port, depot and customer sites.
• Operate the swinglift equipment safely to load and unload containers, following training, equipment limits and safe site procedures.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks, secure loads, comply with road and work-time requirements, and report defects, incidents and hazards.
• Transport dangerous goods as required, meeting applicable safe handling, segregation, load security, documentation and placarding requirements.
• Coordinate collection and delivery arrangements and the assigned truck’s daily work within management priorities. Keep customers informed of arrival times and delays, and coordinate approved servicing.
• Check freight documents, maintain accurate run sheets and proof of delivery, record waiting time, and pass complete job records to accounts for invoicing.
