Job summary

Rubani Holdings Limited is hiring a permanent, full-time driver for a swinglift-equipped Class 5 truck and trailer in Auckland. You will handle 20ft/40ft container movements and other freight across Auckland and the Upper North Island, with occasional longer runs.

Pay is $52.50 per hour for all hours, with 32 guaranteed hours and up to 40 hours weekly, on rotating shifts from 4:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in transport, freight, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• NZ Class 5 licence (or Class 4 with upgrade to 5).
• Dangerous goods (D) endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Solid knowledge of NZ road rules and heavy-vehicle safety.
• Organised, follow freight instructions, professional communication.
• Reliable, punctual with early starts and rotating shifts.
• Physical fitness for loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver containers between port, depot and customer sites.
• Operate swinglift safely to load/unload containers.
• Perform vehicle checks, secure loads, and report defects.
• Transport dangerous goods as required, with proper handling and placarding.
• Coordinate daily work and keep customers informed of arrivals and delays.
• Prepare run sheets and pass records to accounts for invoicing.
