Job summary

JKB Floor Prep in Auckland is seeking an experienced Floor Surface Prepper. The role involves operating concrete grinders, applying self-levelling compounds and epoxy coatings, and screeding falls on floors with labouring duties. A can-do attitude and pride in workmanship are essential.

Candidates must have planetary machine experience, a NZ driver’s licence, excellent English, and be physically fit. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work and an Albany North

Qualifications

• NZ driver’s licence (full or restricted).
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Confident working both in a team and autonomously.
• Ability to effectively follow instructions.

We are now looking to add an experienced Floor Surface Prepper to our growing team.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for operating concrete grinders, applying self levelling compounds and epoxy coatings, screeding falls on floors as well as labouring. You will need previous experience in a similar role and have a can-do attitude, enthusiasm and pride in your work.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes

• Experience on planetary machines (essential)
• Full or restricted NZ driver's licence
• Excellent English communication skills
• Physically fit and healthy
• Confident working both within a team and autonomously
• Ability to effectively follow instructions

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 40-50 hours per week. Occasional Saturday work will be required. Our yard is based in Albany on the North Shore.
