Blind Low Vision NZ is seeking a warm, organised Supporter Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for donors and supporters, delivering empathetic engagement across phone, email, post and digital channels, while building strong relationships that connect people to our mission.
You’ll maintain supporter records, assist with donation processing, and collaborate with Fundraising Operations to ensure seamless service.
Blind Low Vision NZ is the leading national provider of vision rehabilitation services for people who are blind, deafblind or have low vision. Now more than ever, the opportunities are here to make a real difference for people with sight loss, and you’ll help us achieve our vision of empowering New Zealanders who are blind, deafblind or low vision, to live the life they choose. As well as supporting individuals, we seek to make big-picture change by advocating for inclusive communities and for optimal eye care services for all New Zealanders. We have a rich history stretching back to 1890 and as we continue to connect people with sight loss to expert staff and their peers, we also continue to be one of New Zealand's most trusted and iconic not for profit organisations.
Join Blind Low Vision NZ as a Supporter Care Coordinator and help create exceptional experiences for our donors and supporters. In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for those who make our work possible, delivering warm, empathetic engagement across phone, email, post and digital channels. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, ensuring every interaction leaves supporters feeling valued and connected to our mission.
You’ll also play a key role in maintaining accurate supporter records, assisting with donation processing, and collaborating with teams across Fundraising Operations to ensure seamless communication and service. If you’re highly organised, an excellent communicator, and passionate about making a difference, this is your opportunity to contribute to a cause that changes lives every day.
We’re looking for a warm, organised, and detail-oriented professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships and delivering exceptional supporter experiences. You’ll be empathetic, adaptable to new technologies, and confident managing multiple priorities while collaborating across teams.
