Job summary

IDEA Services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to empower people with intellectual disabilities to build confidence, independence and participation in their communities. You will help clients pursue personal goals, gain new skills, and access employment or leisure activities with supportive, well-trained colleagues.

No prior experience in health and disability is required; full training and orientation will be provided to those with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn; full training provided.
• Must have a full NZ drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Availability to support our 24/7 services - schedules include a range of daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
• Full NZ driver's license is required
