Job summary

New Zealand Health Group is seeking energetic and motivated Support Workers to join the Te Awamutu Residential Services team in Waikato. You will support people in their day-to-day lives, including personal cares and community activities, with shifts across a roster and potential sleepover payments in some rosters.

We offer competitive pay rates plus training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing, an Employee Assistance program, and refer-a-friend bonuses.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping others and respectful of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous experience in healthcare or disability support preferred.
• Full driving license is essential.
• Willing to work shifts including overnights and weekends.
• NZ resident or valid NZ work permit required.

We are looking for permanent full-time Support Workers to join our Te Awamutu Residential Services team and support the people we support in their day-to-day lives. This is a leave cover position, providing additional support when other Support Workers are away on leave. Flexibility with rostering and working across different locations within the area is essential.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless! Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.
