As a Support Worker, you will empower people to build confidence, independence, and participate in their communities, with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Worker, you'll empower people with intellectual disabilities to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals.
• From learning new skills and connecting with their community to gaining employment or pursuing personal interests, you'll help people live the life they choose.
• One day you might help someone gain confidence using public transport; another day you may support them to achieve a personal goal or participate in their community.

No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

• Availability to support our 24/7 services - schedules include a range of daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
• Full NZ driver's license is required
