Job summary

Care on Call is seeking compassionate, professional support workers to assist residents in their homes across West Auckland, including Ranui, Swanson, Kumeu, Helensville and Huapai. You will provide personal care, help with daily activities, and support mobility, with training available for medication assistance.

The role requires a current, clean driver’s license, NZ work eligibility, and prior caregiver experience. A training program supports your growth and NZQA-recognised qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, clean driver’s license.
• Must have a health qualification at levels L2–L4.
• Be a resident of West Auckland and have the legal right to work in NZ.
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home management and personal care support.
• Assist residents to achieve personal goals.
• Support daily activities and mobility.
• Assist with exercise and medications (training provided).

We pair support workers with residents near their homes and where you might have the skills the resident needs. We also provide a robust training program so you can learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of other people in our community

Additional requirements

• A current, clean full driver’s licence
• L2, L3 and L4 health qualification is essential
• Someone residing in West Auckland.
• The legal right to work in NZ
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
• Energetic, initiative, and a good sense of humour
• To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
