Job summary

Care on Call is seeking warm, capable carers to support clients at home in Johnsonville, Wellington. Shifts available with a focus on personal care, home management, and helping clients achieve daily goals. Training is provided for tasks such as mobility and medications.

Applicants should hold an L2–L4 health qualification (or equivalent), have a valid full driver’s licence, and the right to work in NZ. Reliability and punctuality are essential for continuity of client care.

Qualifications

• L2–L4 health qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• A current, clean full driver’s licence.
• The legal right to work in NZ.
• Have consistent and long-term availability for clients.
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients.
• Be reliable, punctual, honest and caring.

Responsibilities

• Home management for clients in their own homes.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Assist clients to achieve their goals and manage daily activities.
• Support clients with exercise, mobility and medications (with training).

We have shifts throughout Johnsonville.

We are looking for Carers who can assist with:

• Home management
• Personal cares
• Assisting people to achieve their goals
• Supporting people to manage their daily activities
• Assisting with exercise, mobility, medications perhaps (with training)

What we need from you:

• L2, L3 and L4 health qualification (or equivalent) essential *If you have no health qualification your application may not be considered*
• A current, clean full driver’s licence
• The legal right to work in NZ
• Have consistent and long-term availability (we like to ensure continuity with our clients)
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
• To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
