Job summary

Care on Call in Wellington is seeking reliable carers to support clients at home after illness or injury. Shifts are available across Wellington, with training provided, and a focus on compassionate, professional care.

Requirements include L2-L4 health qualification, a clean full driver’s licence, right to work in NZ, and previous caregiver experience. We offer 24/7 support, NZQA-recognised training, and competitive hourly rates. Annual leave, sick leave and Kiwisaver contributions are provided.

Qualifications

• L2-L4 health qualification required or equivalent.
• Current, clean full driver's licence.
• Right to work in NZ.
• Long-term availability for continuity with clients.
• Previous caregiver/support worker experience.
• Reliable, punctual, honest and caring.

Care on Call provides support to people within their homes after injury, illness or just to make their lives easier. We are always looking for professional, warm, capable people who have a real desire to make a difference in someone else's life.

We have shifts throughout all areas of Wellington.

We are looking for Carers who can assist with:

• Home management
• Personal cares
• Assisting people to achieve their goals
• Supporting people to manage their daily activities
• Assisting with exercise, mobility, medications perhaps (with training)

What we need from you:

• L2, L3 and L4 health qualification (or equivalent) essential
  *If you have no health qualification your application may not be considered*
• A current, clean full driver's licence
• The legal right to work in NZ
• Have consistent and long-term availability (we like to ensure continuity with our clients)
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
• To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
