Job summary

Nurse Maude in Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti is seeking Support Workers to enable people to live happy and meaningful lives. Roles are permanent part-time, with 20–40 hours per week across mornings, evenings and weekends.

You'll work in the community providing personal care, household support, medication assistance and mobility aid, with a friendly, professional approach and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Professional, honest and reliable.
• Friendly, passionate about working with people, and providing high level of care.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks.
• Hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence and have reliable transport.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living.
• Support with mobility and showering.
• Assist with medication support and hosiery application.
• Perform light housework and meal preparation.
• Provide community-based support in clients' homes.
