HealthCare NZ in Alexandra is seeking Casual Support Workers to assist clients in daily living and personal goals during the holiday season. You will follow the care plan and provide practical and emotional support to help clients stay independent at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, community outings, giving medication, personal care, and home management. Availability Nov–Feb is essential; a full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport are preferred;

We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers from Alexandrato assist clients with daily living and personal goals during Holiday period.

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
• Home management
