Job summary

New Era Technology, LLC. seeks a Support Engineer L2 on site in Lincoln to provide advanced technical support for educational sector IT systems. You will resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, and help deploy and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.

The role emphasizes strong documentation, security compliance, and collaboration with service delivery and systems engineering teams to ensure optimal user experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Certifications from Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, OS, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network equipment.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Uphold IT security standards and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
