We are seeking an experienced Supply Manager to lead procurement and supplier management activities supporting project delivery across Oceania. Working closely with Project Managers, Sales, Engineering, and key stakeholders, you will ensure the timely sourcing, contracting, and delivery of equipment and services while driving cost competitiveness, quality, and supplier performance.
This position is based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
As Supply Manager, you will:
Lead sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchasing activities for project-related requirements.
Partner with Project Managers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers.
Drive supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery improvements through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Manage sourcing activities within key local categories.
Conduct competitive sourcing and fact-based supplier negotiations.
Ensure compliance with procurement processes, systems, and global agreements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and procurement capability development across the region.
5+ years' experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management.
Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience supporting projects within manufacturing, engineering, industrial equipment, dairy, or related industries.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience with SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP/procurement systems is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
Delivery of cost savings and value creation opportunities.
Strong support for project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Effective contract and procurement compliance.
Continuous improvement of sourcing and supplier management processes.
