Job summary

Alpha Personnel Recruitment Ltd in Christchurch seeks a Sourcing Manager to deliver high-quality, cost-effective procurement solutions. You will work with category management to develop sourcing strategies and ensure procurement processes are sound and compliant.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement, strong supplier negotiation and contract development skills, and a solid understanding of procurement frameworks within large organisations. NZ residency is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Proven ability in supplier negotiations and contract development.
• Deep understanding of procurement frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in large, complex organisations.
• Knowledge of the Health Sector is advantageous.
• Right to work and residency in New Zealand.

You'll work closely with category management teams to develop and put in place sourcing strategies and procuremant processes that are solid and legally sound.

The successful candidate should be:

• Detail-oriented and commercially minded
• A procurement professional with a deep understanding of contract management.
• The ability to manage procurement projects throughout thier life cycle.
• Proactive, confident and collaborative with excellent stakeholder engagement.

You should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in this field and hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and contract development.
• A deep understanding of procurement frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in large, complex organisations
• Very well developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• An understanding of the Health Sector.
• You should have the right to work and already be resident in New Zealand.
