Job summary

Viatris Limited in Auckland seeks a Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead warehousing and distribution operations in a fast-paced environment. You will drive improvements in logistics, forecasting, and stock control while ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

The role requires leading a capable team and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Eligible applicants must have at least 3 years in warehouse leadership, SAP experience, and a forklift licence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehousing and distribution operations across internal and third-party providers, ensuring service and KPI achievement.
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics, forecasting, and demand planning to reduce costs and improve service.
  • Ensure GMP compliance, quality, safety, stock control, audits, and training records are current.
  • Develop team capability through workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support budgeting, customer relationships, and broader supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead warehousing and distribution operations across internal and third‑party providers, ensuring service excellence, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimising logistics, freight, forecasting, demand planning, and re‑work activities to enhance customer service, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance, quality and safety standards are maintained, including GMP requirements, stock control processes, controlled drug management, audit readiness, and occupational health and safety obligations.
  • Manage and develop team capability through workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and ensuring all mandatory certifications and training records remain current.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support budgeting, key customer relationships, emergency supply requirements, and broader supply chain objectives across New Zealand and ANZ operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated capability working in a warehouse (minimum of 3 years’ experience and good knowledge of GMP environments or similar is preferred).
  • International freight and shipment consolidation experience will well position the successful candidate.
  • Warehouse leadership experience (minimum of 3 years experience).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to use SAP.
  • High level of communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Forklift license.
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand (New Zealand Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).

Position Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

Location: Warehouse, Auckland, Mount Wellington

Employment: Full Time, Fixed Term (6 Months)
